Marietta College’s own Delta Tau Delta fraternity is helping bring awareness Type 1 Diabetes this month with the help of their philanthropy, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDFR) during their JDRF Benefit Concert.
The concert will be held on November 30 @ 6:00 p.m. in the Gathering Place. All students and Staff are encouraged to attend. Also if you are someone you know has a gift in music, whether it’s singing a song or playing an instrument, DTD encourages them to come and perform at the event and help show support for an impactful cause.
“The concert is an opportunity for us to combine a great event with an even better cause. The JDRF supports children with type I diabetes and provides them with the care they need, especially in circumstances where the family may not be able to support their condition financially. DTD cares for the JDRF mission, raising over $1.2 million over the last 2 years nationwide. Every dollar raised at the event will go to support the JDRF.”
